Fundamentals of Vacuum Technology for the Pharmaceutical Industry
This course is designed to benefit engineers who employ vacuum systems in the pharmaceutical industry. Numerous types of vacuum pumps, piping, accessories and controls will be covered from both design and operational views. The requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Clean-In-Place (CIP) methods on vacuum processes and equipment and other regulations will also be included with the course material. This two and a half day course will consist of classroom training and actual "hands-on" laboratory sessions. Upon completion of this seminar, participants will have a better understanding of the fundamentals of vacuum technology, vacuum equipment, maintenance techniques, vacuum design, materials of construction and vacuum pump accessories.
