| A small amount of sealant
from an external reservoir is continuously metered into the
pump cavity for vacuum sealing and lubrication. The sealant
washes the internal surfaces, preventing contaminate buildup.
It is then discharged with the process vapor into the exhaust
system, where it is separated and removed.
