| Environmental
Safety & Health Coordinator - Virginia Beach, VA
The
Environmental Safety & Health Coordinator is responsible
for all aspects of implementing, facilitating and maintaining
an environmental safety and health program in accordance
with local, state and national codes or the authority
having jurisdiction. This position will work with
personnel throughout the organization to maintain a
safe and healthy work environment. They will monitor
facility and processes for adherence to OSHA guidelines
and the elimination of industrial accident. They
will review, evaluate and analyze work environments
and design programs and procedures to control, eliminate
and prevent disease or injure caused by chemical, physical
and biological agents or ergonomic factors. The
position will report directly to the Operations Manager.
A
bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety and Health
or at least five years related experience and equivalent
level of education is required.
